An inline fitting that installs in the vent hose between your fuel tank and the Vapor Trapper™ canister. In the event of a sudden stop with a full tank, it limits how far liquid fuel can surge up the vent line — keeping the charcoal media cleaner and extending filter life.
What it does
- Reduces fuel surge up the vent line under hard braking or sudden stops
- Especially useful in setups with limited vertical space for a long uphill vent run
- Doesn't fully seal — still allows vapor to pass through normally
- Significantly limits how far liquid fuel can travel before hitting the charcoal media.
When to add one
If your vent hose run from tank to canister is short, or if the canister is mounted close to the tank's fuel level, this is cheap insurance. It extends the service interval of the charcoal media and keeps the filter looking new.
