Hot Rod Fuel Vapor Canister Kits
Eliminate raw fuel smell from your hot rod garage — for good.
Vented fuel systems are part of life on hot rods, street rods, and pro-touring builds. The downside is that raw gasoline vapor escapes into your shop, garage, or trailer every time the car sits — fouling the air, soaking into upholstery, and creating a real fire-safety concern around water heaters and pilot lights.
The Vapor Trapper™ is the cleanest solution: a billet aluminum charcoal canister that mounts inline on the tank vent and absorbs fuel vapor before it ever reaches the air. No purge valve, no ECU, no engine vacuum source needed. Just a passive, rechargeable filter that disappears into your build.
What you need for a hot rod install
- The canister — 6" model for small-blocks and single-tank setups; 8" for big-blocks or dual tanks
- Fittings — -6 ORB to 3/8" barb for fuel cells, brass 90° elbow for filler-neck vent ports
- Mounting hardware — Dell clamps for hidden installs, billet billet aluminum clamps for show-quality visible mounts
- Vent line — fuel-rated 3/8" or 1/4" rubber, cut to length
Most builders pick up the Combo Install Kit or the Premium Combo Kit — everything you need in one shipment.
VaporCanister.com is an authorized retailer of the Vapor Trapper™ by Shop48. Made in USA, lifetime manufacturer warranty.
