High Capacity Vapor Trapper™ — 8" Billet Aluminum Charcoal Canister

The High Capacity Vapor Trapper™ is an 8" x 3.5" billet-aluminum charcoal canister built for applications that produce more vapor than the standard 8" can keep up with: large fuel tanks, dual-tank vintage trucks, marine inboards, and high-displacement performance engines.

Same 8" length as the standard unit but much thicker & packed with additional activated-charcoal media for greater vapor-storage capacity between purge cycles.

When to choose High Capacity over standard

• Fuel tanks larger than approximately 30 gallons
• Dual-tank trucks where vents combine into one canister
• Marine inboards on boats up to 26 ft, per ABYC H-24/H-25 sizing
• High-displacement engines (big block / 7.0L+) where vapor generation is higher
• Garage storage applications where the vehicle sits for long stretches between drives

Port selection

Choose -6 ORB / 3/8" barb for typical street builds, factory-style vent lines, and most marine installs. Choose -8 ORB / 1/2" barb for high-flow applications, racing/performance builds with larger vent plumbing, and any system already running -8 AN lines.
