The Vapor Trapper is a high quality 6061 billet aluminum universal charcoal vapor canister that is proudly made in the USA. It is universally designed to be installed on the atmosphere vent line of your vintage car, truck, hotrod, or marine fuel cells to reduce/eliminate raw fuel smells in your garage or storage. As an authorized distributor, this Vapor Trapper purchase comes with a lifetime serviceability warranty through Shop 48.
Nothing else on the market is as high quality, or effective, as the Vapor Trapper. Installation of the Vapor Trapper is easy. It installs in-line with your fuel tank vent hose via practically any inlet/outlet configuration. Most commonly a -6 3/8 barb fitting is used (sold separately), but you can also use -6 AN ORB for custom installation. You can use simple rubber lined dell clamps (sold separately) or any custom 2 1/2 inch clamp. The Vapor Trapper is very effective and has been very well received by the vintage car/truck community, as well as dozens of high end shops who are exclusively using the Vapor Trapper on all of their builds!
Vapor Trapper: Come in black or clear anodizing to ensure a clean and classy finish to last a lifetime. Sizes are 8" and 6". All items shipped same business day.
Barb Fittings: We have the correct fittings for the Vapor Trapper in stock. These are a -6 ORB 3/8 Barb in black or clear anodizing to match or contrast your Vapor Trapper. Sold as a pair of (2) two.
Dell Clamps: These are a high quality, rubber-lined, stainless clamps that we recommend for standard installation of the Vapor Trapper. These are 2 1/2 inch clamps that are easily installed to any surface for mounting the filter. Sold as a pair.
